Calto (hereinafter “the Service”) is a text-based calculator mobile application that allows users to perform calculations as naturally as taking notes.
These Terms of Service establish the basic provisions regarding the use of the Service. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
2. Use of Service
2.1 Eligibility
The Service is available to all users aged 14 and above. Users under 14 require parental or guardian consent.
2.2 Account
Basic features of the Service can be used without an account. Some features may require account creation in the future. Users are responsible for the accuracy and security of their account information.
2.3 Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
- Using the Service for illegal activities
- Interfering with normal operation of the Service
- Using the Service in ways that infringe on others’ rights
3. Paid Services
3.1 Plans
The Service offers a Free plan and a Pro plan.
- Free: Basic calculation features and up to 2 documents are available at no cost.
- Pro: A one-time purchase ($2.99, Lifetime) unlocks unlimited documents, real-time exchange rates, cryptocurrency conversion, premium themes, and all other features.
Plans and pricing are subject to change with prior notice.
3.2 Payment and Refunds
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refunds follow the respective store’s policies. Calto does not directly collect or store payment information.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, logos, software, and technology of the Service are the intellectual property of Calto or its licensors.
Users retain all rights to documents and calculations they create within the Service.
5. Disclaimer
5.1 Calculation Results
The Service is a convenience calculation tool and does not guarantee accuracy of results. Please consult professionals for important financial, legal, or medical decisions.
5.2 Exchange Rates and Cryptocurrency
Exchange rates and cryptocurrency prices are provided through external data sources (ECB, CoinGecko), and real-time accuracy is not guaranteed. This information does not constitute investment advice. Please use official financial information for actual transactions.
5.3 Service Availability
The Service is provided “as is” and uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. Service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or force majeure events.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calto shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
7. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be modified as needed, and changes will be notified through the Service or email.
If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may discontinue use of the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Korean courts.
